Steve Schnebly, Ph.D.

Vice President, Soybean Breeding

Dr. Schnebly is responsible for the integration of novel traits developed by Amfora into elite germplasm as well as developing agronomic testing strategies to ensure our products meet the expectations of our customers and farmer producers.
 
Prior to joining Amfora, Dr. Schnebly retired from Corteva Agrisciences in 2018 where he provided leadership to breeding efforts for the Northwestern United States and Canada. In addition, he was responsible for the development of products for the Plenish High Oleic Soybean initiative. 
 

An Iowa native, Dr. Schnebly earned a Bachelor of Science in agronomy from Iowa State University where he also earned a Master of Science and Doctorate in plant breeding.
